A Traditional Naturopath specializes in the wellness of their clients by teaching them how to apply natural methodologies to their lifestyle. They work with the client to facilitate the body’s own natural healing and health-building potential.
A Traditional Naturopath recognizes that the majority of chronic sub-health conditions are cumulative lifestyle effects, and that the underlying cause of what we call “disease” (or, “dis-ease”) may be a combination of improper eating, unhealthy habits and/or environmental factors. All of which cause biological imbalances leading to a weakening of the body’s natural defenses (immune system) and subsequent breakdown in health.
The goal is to restore balance within the body by finding root causes and address it so the body can facilitate its own natural healing to regain balance/homeostasis. Traditional Naturopaths guide and teach their clients in natural health approaches such as detoxification, dietary wellness, the use of herbs and homeopathy, enzymes, minerals, exercise, rest, and many other natural health modalities.
