Unwind Holding
Patterns & Fascia

Dynamic Body Balancing - Cranial Sacral

What It Is: Dynamic Body Balancing is a comprehensive hands-on technique that integrates craniosacral therapy, myofascial unwinding, and biofield therapy to address physical and emotional patterns held within the body's connective tissue system (fascia). The fascia is a matrix of connective tissue that encases all of the muscles, ligaments, nerves, bones, and organs. This tissue holds onto experiences, emotions, and environmental exposures—both conscious and unconscious.

Through gentle, guided movements and light touch, Dynamic Body Balancing supports the unwinding and rebalancing of fascial restrictions while simultaneously supporting nervous system regulation. This integrative approach works with the body's innate intelligence to restore balance, harmony, and optimal function. This technique is performed in-person only due to its hands-on nature.

How It Works: During your Dynamic Body Balancing session, we follow the body's natural healing process:
  1. Assessment of Craniosacral System: Using light touch, we monitor the rhythm of the craniosacral system—the membranes, cerebrospinal fluid, and structures surrounding the brain and spinal cord. This rhythm, known as the cranial rhythmic impulse, occurs at approximately 12-15 cycles per minute and is essential for delivering nutrients to and removing toxins from the nervous system.
  2. Identify Restrictions: We detect areas where fascial tissue has become restricted or where the craniosacral system shows imbalance. These restrictions often correspond to areas of stored physical or emotional tension.
  3. Facilitate Unwinding: Through gentle guidance and positioning, we support the body's natural unwinding process. This may involve working in multiple positions—lying on the table, seated, standing, or in the "position of injury"—allowing the tissues to release restrictions in the most effective way for the body.
  4. Support Integration: As restrictions release, the nervous system rebalances, moving from a state of stress and protection into a state of ease and optimal function. This process supports the body's natural ability to strengthen and restore wellness.

What You May Experience: Dynamic Body Balancing sessions are deeply relaxing yet actively engaging. You may experience gentle movements as your body guides the unwinding process—this can feel like a subtle dance between you and the Practitioner. As fascial restrictions release, you might notice warmth, tingling, or a sense of lengthening in your tissues.

Some clients experience emotional releases as patterns held in the fascia are cleared. The work is always performed at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for the client's nervous system. Initial sessions typically last 45 minutes, with follow-up sessions ranging from 15-45 minutes depending on the body's needs and responses.

8 Key Benefits:
  1. Fascial System Balance: Address restrictions in the tissue that may be causing pain, tension or limited mobility.
  2. Nervous System Regulation:  Supports rebalancing from stress responses into rest, repair and optimal function.
  3. Integrates Physical and Emotional Patterns: Addresses trauma stored in the body's tissues.
  4. Whole-Body Approach: Recognizes the interconnectedness of craniosacral, fascial and nervous systems.
  5. Flexible Positioning: Performed in various positions to optimize your body's natural unwinding.
  6. Enhanced Function: Supports improved organ systems as nervous system communication improves.
  7. Stress & Anxiety Support: Calming effect on the nervous system supports emotional well-being.
  8. Gentle & Body-Led: Uses light touch and the body's own wisdom to guide the process, making it appropriate for all ages and conditions.

What We Address: Dynamic Body Balancing supports the body's natural healing process by addressing physical trauma, emotional patterns stored in the fascia, nervous system dysregulation, chronic pain and tension, structural restrictions and related organ system function. This comprehensive approach recognizes how experiences and injuries—whether physical, emotional or environmental—create patterns within the body's connective tissue and nervous system that can affect overall health and well-being.

Important Note: If you have extreme injuries or current spine injuries, please consult with your physician before scheduling Dynamic Body Balancing.
